Terms of Service
1. Scope of Application
These Terms of Service (ToS) apply to all users of the Yori Mobile App (iOS & Android) and the associated website of Adrian Schmidt (hereinafter 'Provider'). By downloading the app or using our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Service Description & AI Disclaimer
Yori offers AI-supported self-leadership training and coaching impulses. It is a purely informative service for personal reflection.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Yori is software based on Artificial Intelligence (Large Language Models). Yori is NOT a substitute for psychological or therapeutic treatment, legal advice, or financial services. In the event of a health crisis, please strictly contact qualified professionals or emergency services.
3. Liability & Scope of Responsibility
Yori generates automated responses based on Artificial Intelligence. The Provider assumes no liability for the accuracy, completeness, logic, or applicability of the generated content.
The implementation of any steps suggested by the AI lies solely within the responsibility of the user. The Provider is only liable for intent and gross negligence. Liability for direct or indirect damages incurred due to incorrect decisions by the user (e.g., career decisions evaluated by Yori) is explicitly excluded.
4. Subscriptions (Premium Payments)
The Yori App offers paid in-app subscriptions (e.g., 'Yori Pro') for unlimited access to the AI model and extended features. These purchases are handled exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Payment & Renewal: The subscription renews automatically by the selected period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in the account settings (Apple/Google).
- Cancellation: Cancellation of the subscription is possible at any time via the platform (Apple/Google) where the subscription was initiated. Deleting the Yori account does not automatically cancel the subscription.
- Refunds: Any refund requests are subject to the policies of the respective App Store and must be directed there.
5. User Obligations & Fair Use
Users agree not to use the Yori App for abusive purposes. In particular, automated scraping of the AI, bypassing API limits, and systematic generation of content for third parties are strictly prohibited. The Provider reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts in case of violation.
6. Rights of Use & Copyright
The design of the app, the personalities (Personas), the system prompts, and the source code are the copyrighted property of the Provider. The user is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App for private purposes.
7. Changes to the ToS
We reserve the right to adapt these ToS at any time (e.g., due to legal changes regarding AI usage). The current version is always accessible via the App or Website. Significant changes will be communicated to registered users via email or in-app notice.
